Mosaic Biosciences has developed an enzymatic residue management product, MOS218. MOS218 allows for increased residue breakdown. Activity provided increases the breakdown, release, and mineralization of organic nutrients in crop residues should be readily taken up and utilized by the current crop in the field.

We are seeking farmers who are planting canola into fields where the previous crop was spring wheat and who are interested in measuring and understanding the impact of MOS218 on their operations. The product is applied to wheat stubble as an addition to the preemergence herbicide application.  

Farm requirements:

• Canola farmers in MN, ND, SD or MT
• Collect digital data
• Any tillage practice is acceptable 
• Perform preemergence herbicide application 
• Minimum of a 50 ac trial field
