2026 IntraCrop Trials
IntraCrop is a UK based company specializing in the development, registration and distribution of products which improve the efficacy of crop inputs. Through their parent company, Frontier Agriculture, they have a joint venture with Cargill to help bring Status® to the market.
Status® is a soluble liquid pure plant bio stimulant containing MTU (2g/L) and Pidolic acid (320 g/L), that increases nutrient use efficiency and combats abiotic stress. Status already has European registration for Nitrogen Use Efficiency (NUE) and for Canadian small plot trials. The expected benefits of Status include reliable yield performance in environments where nitrogen becomes deficient or unavailable, and potential for more efficient use of nitrogen.
We are seeking wheat, canola, barley and corn growers in Canada who are interested in trialing Status on their operation. This is a paid farmer trial; participants will receive the Status product in addition to monetary compensation upon trial completion.
Farm requirements:
- Spring wheat, canola, barley or grain corn growers in Western Canada
- Apply 1 post-emergence foliar application
- Ability to reduce nitrogen by 20% at planting, for a check strip (reducing N up to a maximum of 25 lbs/ac)
- Total of 3 treatment areas
- Minimum 40-acre field
- Collect digital data
